Responsibilities
- Analyze emerging technologies, geopolitical shifts, and cultural trends to forecast 2026+ market landscapes
- Develop scenario-planning frameworks for enterprise resilience and disruption readiness
- Lead cross-functional workshops to translate future insights into strategic roadmaps
- Author thought leadership publications and predictive trend reports
- Partner with R&D teams to validate future-viable innovations
- Advise executive leadership on long-term risk mitigation and opportunity capture
- Monitor global sustainability and ethical implications of emerging paradigms
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Foresight, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 5+ years in strategic planning, innovation consulting, or futurist research
- Proven track record of developing predictive models for complex systems
- Expertise in scenario planning and horizon scanning methodologies
- Deep knowledge of AI, biotech, climate tech, and quantum computing trajectories
- Exceptional presentation skills for executive and stakeholder audiences
- Certification in Strategic Foresight (e.g., from AC/FS or foresight academy)
- Portfolio demonstrating published future-focused analyses or frameworks
