Responsibilities
- Anticipate and map emerging technological, social, and economic trends through horizon scanning and predictive modeling
- Develop scenario-based strategic frameworks for 2026 technology adoption across enterprise and consumer markets
- Lead cross-functional workshops with engineering, design, and executive teams to translate foresight into product roadmaps
- Author quarterly 'Future State Briefs' for C-suite and board members, quantifying market readiness for 2026 capabilities
- Establish early-stage partnerships with academic labs and startups developing 2026-enabling technologies
- Represent the company at Davos, TED, and global tech summits as a thought leader on next-generation human-machine interfaces
Qualifications
- PhD in Futures Studies, Systems Theory, or equivalent strategic foresight certification from APF or WFS
- 10+ years in corporate strategy, innovation consulting, or R&D leadership with demonstrated 5+ year predictive accuracy
- Published research on exponential technologies (quantum, AGI, biotech) with peer-reviewed citations
- Portfolio of successful 3-5 year strategic roadmaps implemented by Fortune 500 companies
- Expertise in systems dynamics modeling and Monte Carlo simulations for trend forecasting
- Proficiency in foresight tools (e.g., Delphi method, cross-impact analysis) and data visualization platforms
- Fluency in Mandarin and/or Arabic for emerging market trend analysis
