Responsibilities
- Lead horizon scanning to identify disruptive technologies and societal shifts impacting 2026+ business landscapes
- Develop and publish annual 'State of 2026' trend reports and strategic foresight frameworks
- Partner with C-suite executives to integrate future-focused insights into corporate strategy
- Design innovation incubators for emerging technologies (quantum computing, bio-AI, climate tech)
- Host high-stakes futurist workshops with Fortune 500 partners and academic institutions
- Build and lead a cross-functional futurist task force driving R&D investments
- Represent company at Davos, CES, and other future-focused global forums
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Technology Strategy, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 8+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or R&D leadership
- Published thought leadership on 2026+ technology trends (peer-reviewed journals)
- Expertise in scenario planning, technology roadmapping, and trend analysis methodologies
- Deep knowledge of exponential technologies (quantum, AI, synthetic biology)
- Proven track record of executing future-focused strategies in Fortune 500 environments
- Exceptional communication skills with ability to translate complex futures into actionable plans
