Responsibilities
- Analyze global technology, economic, and social trends to forecast developments through 2026
- Develop strategic frameworks for emerging domains (AI ethics, quantum computing, biotechnology)
- Lead scenario-planning workshops for executive leadership and board stakeholders
- Produce annual Horizon Reports outlining market opportunities and risks
- Partner with R&D to align innovation pipelines with future market demands
- Advise on policy implications of disruptive technologies for regulatory compliance
- Represent the company at global futurist conferences and thought leadership forums
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Strategic Foresight, Technology Forecasting, or related field
- 5+ years in strategy consulting, R&D planning, or futurist research
- Proven expertise in trend analysis and scenario planning methodologies
- Deep knowledge of exponential technologies (AI, blockchain, synthetic biology)
- Exceptional presentation skills with executive experience
- Certification in Futures Studies or Strategic Foresight preferred
- Published thought leadership on emerging technologies or societal futures
- Experience with horizon scanning tools (e.g., Delphi method, STEEP analysis)
