Responsibilities
- Analyze macroeconomic, technological, and sociocultural trends to forecast industry shifts through 2026+
- Develop scenario-based strategic roadmaps for 3-5 year horizon planning
- Lead cross-functional workshops to align stakeholders on future-proof initiatives
- Produce trend briefings and white papers for executive decision-making
- Identify emerging technologies with disruptive potential for our ecosystem
- Design resilience frameworks against systemic risks (climate, geopolitical, technological)
- Maintain a proprietary horizon-scanning intelligence database
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Foresight, Technology Management, or equivalent
- 5+ years in strategic planning, innovation consulting, or technology forecasting
- Expertise in horizon scanning methodologies (e.g., Delphi, STEEP analysis)
- Published thought leadership in futurism or emerging tech trends
- Proficiency in scenario planning tools (e.g., Causal Layered Analysis)
- Deep understanding of exponential technologies (quantum, AGI, synthetic biology)
- Exceptional storytelling skills to translate complex futures into actionable insights
