Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain horizon-scanning frameworks to identify disruptive technologies with 2026+ impact
- Lead cross-functional innovation sprints to prototype future-facing solutions
- Produce strategic foresight reports for executive stakeholders and investors
- Establish partnerships with academic institutions and R&D labs
- Design ethical frameworks for emerging technologies (quantum, AGI, neurotech)
- Guide product roadmaps through scenario planning and trend analysis
- Present innovation blueprints to C-suite and board members
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategy, R&D, or futurist roles with tech focus
- Proven track record of translating foresight into commercial products
- Deep expertise in exponential technologies (quantum, AI, biotech, nanotech)
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Systems Engineering, or related field
- Published thought leadership in innovation journals/conferences
- Experience leading cross-disciplinary innovation teams
- Certification in Strategic Foresight or Innovation Management
- Portfolio of future-concept implementations or patents
