Responsibilities
- Identify and analyze emerging technologies, societal shifts, and market disruptions through horizon scanning and trend synthesis
- Develop strategic foresight frameworks and scenario-planning models for 2026+ market landscapes
- Lead cross-functional innovation sprints to prototype future-facing solutions and business models
- Present future outlook narratives to executive leadership and external stakeholders
- Establish partnerships with academic institutions, startups, and think tanks
- Curate and maintain Horizon Dynamics' future intelligence database
- Mentor innovation teams on future-proofing methodologies
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Innovation, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 5+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or R&D leadership
- Proven experience with horizon scanning, scenario planning, and trend analysis frameworks
- Deep expertise in emerging technologies (AI, biotech, quantum computing, etc.)
- Exceptional storytelling and visualization skills for complex future concepts
- Published thought leadership in futurism or innovation strategy
- Experience leading cross-cultural, cross-functional teams
- Proficiency in foresight tools (e.g., Delphi method, STEEP analysis)
