Responsibilities
- Develop 5-10 year strategic foresight frameworks for emerging technologies (quantum computing, synthetic biology, AGI)
- Lead cross-functional innovation sprints with R&D, product, and policy teams
- Produce annual Horizon Reports mapping societal and technological inflection points
- Curate exclusive Future Council dialogues with global thought leaders
- Translate complex futures research into actionable product roadmaps
- Drive patent strategy for breakthrough innovations in climate tech and neuro interfaces
- Represent Horizon at Davos, CES, and global innovation summits
Qualifications
- PhD or equivalent in Futures Studies, Systems Theory, or related field (10+ years experience considered)
- Published research on technological singularity or exponential change
- Proven track record in translating foresight into commercial innovation
- Deep expertise in at least two emerging tech domains (quantum, biotech, AGI, etc.)
- Experience with scenario planning and Delphi methodologies
- Portfolio demonstrating impact on future-shaping initiatives
- Ability to synthesize complex data from multidisciplinary sources
- Exceptional storytelling skills for technical and executive audiences
