As a Weekend Youth Assistant, you'll create memorable experiences for teens aged 13-18 through sports, arts, and educational workshops. Responsibilities
- Facilitate engaging weekend activities including sports, arts & crafts, and educational games
- Ensure safety and supervision of teen participants during all programs
- Assist with activity setup, cleanup, and equipment management
- Maintain accurate attendance records and incident reports
- Support team members in creating an inclusive, positive environment
- Communicate effectively with participants, parents, and center staff
Qualifications
- Must be 16-19 years old (perfect for high school students)
- Available Saturdays and Sundays (6am-2pm or 2pm-10pm shifts)
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Basic first aid/CPR certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Strong communication skills and enthusiasm for working with teens
- Reliable transportation to our downtown Albuquerque location
- No prior experience required – training provided!
