Responsibilities
- Facilitate weekend youth activities including sports, arts, and educational workshops
- Ensure participant safety and maintain a positive, inclusive environment
- Assist with event setup, equipment management, and post-activity cleanup
- Support program coordinators in implementing scheduled activities
- Interact professionally with teens, parents, and community stakeholders
- Document attendance and assist with basic administrative tasks
- Adhere to all safety protocols and youth protection guidelines
Qualifications
- Must be 14-18 years old and enrolled in high school
- Available to work weekends (Saturdays & Sundays) 9 AM - 5 PM
- Enthusiasm for working with diverse groups of teens
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Reliable transportation to Seattle Community Centers locations
- No prior experience required – comprehensive training provided
- Ability to stand/walk for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs
- Valid Washington State Work Permit if under 18
