Responsibilities
- Operate material handling equipment (e.g., forklifts, pallet jacks) safely and efficiently during weekend shifts.
- Load and unload shipments with speed and accuracy, adhering to safety protocols.
- Verify inventory counts and ensure proper organization of stock in the warehouse.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area in compliance with OSHA standards.
- Collaborate with the morning shift team to ensure seamless handovers and workflow continuity.
- Assist in packaging and labeling orders for local and national distribution.
- Report any equipment malfunctions or safety hazards immediately to management.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent preferred.
- Previous warehouse or logistics experience is a plus but not required.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand for extended periods.
- Must be available to work Saturdays and Sundays on a recurring basis.
- Basic computer literacy and familiarity with handheld scanning devices.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.
- Valid Driver's License (Class C) is required for this position.
