Responsibilities
- Load and unload freight: Safely and efficiently move products from trucks to storage and vice versa using forklifts and pallet jacks.
- Inventory Management: Accurately scan and track inventory using handheld scanners to maintain real-time stock levels.
- Packing & Shipping: Prepare packages for shipment, ensuring proper labeling and weight distribution.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere strictly to all safety protocols and OSHA regulations to maintain a hazard-free work environment.
- Team Collaboration: Communicate effectively with shift supervisors and team members to ensure workflow continuity.
- Equipment Maintenance: Perform basic pre-shift inspections on machinery and report any maintenance issues immediately.
Qualifications
- Availability: Must be available to work weekends (Saturday and Sunday) consistently.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand for extended periods.
- Experience: Previous experience in warehousing, logistics, or retail is highly preferred but not required for enthusiastic candidates.
- Documentation: Must possess a valid ID and be legally authorized to work in the United States.
- Attention to Detail: Strong focus on accuracy when handling inventory and shipping documents.
- Driver’s License: A valid driver’s license is a plus.
