Responsibilities
- Load and Unload: Safely operate material handling equipment to load and unload trucks and pallets.
- Inventory Management: Verify incoming and outgoing shipments, organize stock, and ensure accurate inventory counts.
- Order Fulfillment: Pick, pack, and prepare orders for local and regional delivery within the Saturday and Sunday timeframe.
- Warehouse Maintenance: Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment by following all safety protocols.
- Equipment Operation: Use forklifts, pallet jacks, and scanners efficiently to maximize productivity.
- Team Collaboration: Communicate effectively with the weekend shift team to meet daily production goals.
Qualifications
- Schedule Availability: Must be available to work weekends (Saturday and Sunday) consistently.
- Education: High school diploma or GED preferred; equivalent experience considered.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand for extended periods.
- Reliability: Proven track record of punctuality and dependability in previous employment.
- Skills: Basic computer skills and ability to learn new warehouse software quickly.
- License: Forklift certification is a plus but not mandatory for all roles.
