Responsibilities
- Material Handling: Safely load and unload trucks, ensuring all items are accounted for and handled with care.
- Picking & Packing: Accurately select items from the warehouse floor and package them for shipment according to company standards.
- Inventory Management: Assist in maintaining accurate inventory records and organizing stock in designated areas.
- Equipment Operation: Operate pallet jacks, hand trucks, and forklifts (certification provided upon hiring).
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all OSHA safety guidelines and warehouse protocols to prevent accidents.
- Quality Control: Inspect products for damage and ensure all shipping labels are correctly applied.
Qualifications
- Physical Stamina: Ability to stand, walk, and lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly throughout the shift.
- Reliability: Consistent attendance and a strong work ethic are essential.
- Communication: Basic ability to understand and follow verbal and written instructions.
- Availability: Must be available to work weekends (Saturday and Sunday) on a consistent basis.
- Attention to Detail: Keen eye for detail to ensure accuracy in order fulfillment.
- Teamwork: Willingness to collaborate with fellow team members and supervisors.
