Responsibilities
- Operational Efficiency: Safely and efficiently load, unload, and stage merchandise to ensure timely order fulfillment.
- Inventory Accuracy: Conduct accurate stock counts and maintain organized warehouse records to minimize discrepancies.
- Equipment Handling: Operate pallet jacks, forklifts (if certified), and hand trucks to move heavy materials safely.
- Quality Control: Inspect incoming and outgoing shipments for damage and ensure all packaging meets company standards.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere strictly to all OSHA safety protocols and workplace regulations to maintain a hazard-free environment.
- Team Collaboration: Communicate effectively with shift supervisors and team members to coordinate daily tasks and resolve issues promptly.
Qualifications
- Schedule Availability: Must be available to work weekends (Saturday and Sunday) on a recurring basis.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand for extended periods in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience: Prior warehouse or logistics experience is preferred but not required for immediate consideration.
- Attention to Detail: Strong focus on accuracy in data entry and inventory tracking.
- Reliability: Proven track record of punctuality and dependability in previous employment.
- Communication: Basic computer literacy and the ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
