Responsibilities
- Operate Material Handling Equipment: Safely use forklifts, pallet jacks, and scanners to process incoming and outgoing inventory.
- Inventory Management: Perform cycle counts, stock replenishment, and ensure accurate record-keeping of merchandise.
- Quality Assurance: Inspect products for damage and ensure all items meet quality standards before shipment.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all OSHA safety protocols and workplace regulations to maintain a hazard-free environment.
- Team Collaboration: Communicate effectively with shift leads and other team members to optimize workflow efficiency.
- Load & Unload Operations: Efficiently handle freight movement between trucks, docks, and storage areas.
Qualifications
- Availability: Must be available to work weekends (Saturday and Sunday) on a consistent basis.
- Experience: Previous experience in warehousing, logistics, or retail is preferred but not always required for the right candidate.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to lift up to 50 pounds repeatedly and stand for extended periods.
- Reliability: Strong track record of punctuality and attendance.
- Communication: Basic reading and writing skills; ability to follow verbal and written instructions.
- Equipment Certification: Forklift certification is a plus but training may be provided.
