Responsibilities
- Execute daily receiving, stocking, and inventory management tasks with precision and speed.
- Operate warehouse equipment, including pallet jacks, forklifts (if certified), and hand trucks, adhering to all safety protocols.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area, ensuring compliance with OSHA standards.
- Assist in loading and unloading trucks, verifying shipments against purchase orders for accuracy.
- Collaborate with the morning shift team to ensure a seamless transition of operations and inventory turnover.
- Identify and report potential safety hazards or inventory discrepancies immediately.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent preferred.
- Previous warehouse or logistics experience is a plus, but we are willing to train the right candidate for immediate hire.
- Must be available to work weekends (Saturday and Sunday) with the ability to work overtime if necessary.
- Physical stamina required: ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand for extended periods.
- Strong attention to detail and basic computer literacy for scanning labels.
- Reliable transportation to and from the Oakland facility.
