Responsibilities
- Material Handling: Efficiently load, unload, and transport merchandise using hand trucks, pallet jacks, or forklifts as required.
- Inventory Control: Assist in the accurate counting and recording of inventory stock to ensure discrepancies are minimized.
- Order Fulfillment: Pack, label, and prepare orders for shipment with precision and speed.
- Safety Compliance: Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering strictly to all safety protocols and OSHA guidelines.
- Team Collaboration: Communicate effectively with the morning shift team to ensure seamless handovers and operational continuity.
- Equipment Maintenance: Perform routine checks on material handling equipment and report any issues immediately.
Qualifications
- Education: High School Diploma or GED equivalent preferred.
- Availability: Must be available to work weekends (Saturday & Sunday) on a recurring basis.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand for extended periods.
- Experience: No prior logistics experience required; we provide on-the-job training.
- Skills: Basic computer proficiency and strong attention to detail.
- Work Ethic: Demonstrated reliability and the ability to work well within a team environment.
