Your Role
As a Weekend Warehouse Associate, you will play a crucial role in our logistics chain, ensuring that goods are handled with care and delivered on time. You will work in a fast-paced environment where safety and efficiency are paramount.
Responsibilities
- Load and Unload Freight: Safely and efficiently load and unload shipments using forklifts and pallet jacks.
- Inventory Management: Verify incoming and outgoing inventory, ensuring accuracy and proper labeling.
- Equipment Maintenance: Perform routine inspections of warehouse equipment and report any maintenance issues immediately.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere strictly to all safety protocols and OSHA regulations to maintain a hazard-free workspace.
- Team Collaboration: Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors to meet daily productivity targets.
- Order Fulfillment: Prepare pallets and packages for shipping in accordance with customer orders.
- Organization: Keep the warehouse floor organized, clean, and free of obstructions.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma: Or equivalent work experience.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand for extended periods.
- Availability: Must be available to work weekends (Saturday and Sunday).
- Valid Driver’s License: Preferred but not required for general warehouse duties.
- Attention to Detail: Strong focus on accuracy in inventory and shipping processes.
- Experience: Previous warehouse or logistics experience is a plus but not mandatory for the right candidate.
- Reliability: Proven track record of punctuality and consistent work history.
