Responsibilities
- Loading & Unloading: Safely and efficiently load and unload trucks utilizing hand trucks, pallet jacks, and forklifts.
- Inventory Management: Conduct accurate stock counts and verify incoming shipments against packing lists.
- Picking & Packing: Select items from the warehouse floor and prepare them for shipment using proper packaging materials.
- Organization: Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment to prevent accidents and ensure workflow efficiency.
- Equipment Operation: Operate warehouse machinery (including forklifts if certified) to move materials to designated storage areas.
- Quality Control: Inspect products for damage and ensure all shipping labels and documentation are accurate.
Qualifications
- Availability: Must be available to work Saturdays and Sundays on a consistent basis.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to stand, walk, and lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly throughout the shift.
- Reliability: A strong track record of punctuality and dependability.
- Communication: Basic ability to communicate effectively with team members and supervisors.
- Experience: Previous warehouse or logistics experience is preferred but not required; training provided.
- Driving: Valid driver's license and reliable transportation are required.
