Responsibilities
- Oversee daily operations of the weekend shift, ensuring all logistics and distribution targets are met efficiently.
- Supervise, train, and mentor a team of warehouse associates to maintain high productivity and safety standards.
- Conduct daily safety briefings and enforce strict safety protocols to prevent accidents.
- Manage inventory accuracy and coordinate with the logistics team to ensure timely shipping and receiving.
- Resolve operational issues and make real-time decisions to minimize downtime during peak weekend hours.
- Prepare weekly shift reports and track key performance indicators (KPIs).
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required; Associate’s degree or certification in Logistics preferred.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a warehouse or logistics environment, with at least 1 year in a supervisory or lead role.
- Valid Forklift Operator Certification is required.
- Strong leadership and communication skills with the ability to motivate a diverse team.
- Proficiency in warehouse management software and MS Office Suite.
- Ability to work weekends (Friday-Monday) and remain flexible during peak seasons.
