Responsibilities
- Supervise weekend warehouse staff, ensuring efficient daily operations and safety compliance
- Coordinate loading/unloading activities, inventory management, and order fulfillment
- Implement process improvements to optimize weekend shift productivity
- Conduct staff training and performance evaluations for weekend team members
- Maintain accurate records of inventory, shipments, and operational metrics
- Collaborate with weekday supervisors to ensure seamless operational continuity
- Address immediate operational challenges and escalate critical issues appropriately
Qualifications
- 3+ years of warehouse/supervisory experience in logistics or distribution
- Proven leadership skills with ability to motivate weekend shift teams
- Strong knowledge of OSHA safety regulations and warehouse best practices
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and decision-making under pressure
- Proficient in inventory management systems and warehouse software
- Valid North Carolina driver's license and clean driving record
- Ability to work weekends (Friday-Sunday) and flexible hours as needed
- High school diploma or equivalent; bachelor's degree preferred
