Responsibilities
- Oversee weekend production operations and coordinate workflow across multiple departments
- Monitor equipment performance and implement preventative maintenance schedules
- Train and supervise weekend production staff to ensure compliance with safety protocols
- Conduct quality inspections and troubleshoot production issues in real-time
- Generate daily production reports and analyze performance metrics
- Collaborate with weekday supervisors for seamless transition and process optimization
- Manage inventory levels and coordinate with supply chain for weekend material needs
Qualifications
- 3+ years of manufacturing or production supervisory experience
- Strong knowledge of lean manufacturing principles and quality control systems
- OSHA certification or willingness to obtain within 30 days
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and decision-making skills
- Ability to work independently with minimal weekday supervision
- Proficient in production management software (SAP, Oracle, or equivalent)
- Physical ability to stand for extended periods and navigate industrial environment
- Valid Kansas driver's license for occasional facility inspections
