Responsibilities
- Provide exceptional patient care during weekend shifts (Sat/Sun)
- Administer medications and treatments per physician protocols
- Document patient interactions accurately in EMR systems
- Coordinate with on-call physicians for urgent cases
- Maintain sterile environments and equipment safety
- Support patient education and discharge planning
- Collaborate with cross-functional weekend teams
Qualifications
- Current Texas RN or LVN license required
- Minimum 2 years clinical experience
- BLS/CPR certification (AHA preferred)
- EMR proficiency (Epic systems a plus)
- Weekend availability essential
- Strong communication and critical thinking skills
- Ability to adapt to changing patient volumes
- Background check and drug screening required
