Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care including mobility assistance, medication administration, and personal hygiene support
- Monitor vital signs and document patient observations accurately in electronic health records
- Collaborate with nursing staff to implement individualized care plans
- Assist with patient admissions, discharges, and transfers during weekend shifts
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized patient environment
- Respond promptly to patient calls and emergency situations
- Participate in weekend team meetings and shift handovers
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required; CNA certification preferred
- Minimum 1 year healthcare experience in assisted living or hospital setting
- Current CPR/BLS certification from accredited provider
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand/walk for extended periods
- Strong communication skills and compassionate bedside manner
- Proficiency with electronic health record systems
- Flexibility to work Saturdays and Sundays (6:00 AM - 6:00 PM)
- Valid Wisconsin driver's license and reliable transportation
