Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate personal care assistance including bathing, dressing, and mobility support
- Administer prescribed medications and monitor vital signs per care plans
- Document patient observations and care activities accurately in electronic health records
- Assist with meal preparation and feeding while accommodating dietary restrictions
- Transport patients to medical appointments and social outings using company vehicles
- Maintain clean, safe environments and implement infection control protocols
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient care outcomes
Qualifications
- Active CNA certification or equivalent healthcare experience (1+ years preferred)
- Valid CPR/First Aid certification or willingness to obtain immediately
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and stand/walk for extended periods
- Excellent communication skills and compassion for elderly patients
- Reliable transportation with clean driving record
- Flexibility to work 8-12 hour weekend shifts (Sat/Sun)
- Pass comprehensive background check and drug screening
- Basic proficiency with electronic health record systems
