Responsibilities
- Supervise weekend warehouse operations and direct a team of 5-7 associates
- Optimize inventory management systems and implement cycle counting protocols
- Coordinate loading/unloading of trucks and ensure timely order fulfillment
- Maintain OSHA compliance and enforce safety standards across all shifts
- Train new staff on warehouse equipment (forklifts, pallet jacks) and SOPs
- Analyze performance metrics and implement process improvements
- Collaborate with overnight shift teams for seamless handovers
- Generate daily productivity reports for management review
Qualifications
- 3+ years warehouse or logistics management experience
- OSHA certification or equivalent safety training
- Forklift certification and heavy machinery operation skills
- Strong leadership abilities with proven team management experience
- Proficiency in WMS systems (SAP, Oracle, or similar)
- Ability to work weekends (Saturday/Sunday) and holidays as needed
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- High school diploma; associate's degree preferred
