Responsibilities
- Coordinate patient care activities across clinical departments during weekend shifts
- Oversee weekend staff scheduling and ensure optimal department coverage
- Implement and maintain compliance with healthcare regulations and protocols
- Lead weekend interdisciplinary team meetings and care conferences
- Manage emergency response protocols and critical incident documentation
- Conduct weekend quality assurance audits and process improvements
- Collaborate with weekday leadership for seamless continuity of care
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing, Healthcare Administration, or related field (Master's preferred)
- Minimum 3 years clinical experience with weekend shift work
- Current Illinois healthcare professional license required
- Advanced knowledge of HIPAA and healthcare compliance standards
- Strong leadership and conflict resolution skills
- Experience with EHR systems (Epic preferred)
- Ability to work independently in fast-paced weekend environments
- CPR/BLS certification mandatory
