Responsibilities
- Customer Assistance: Greet customers warmly, answer questions, and provide exceptional service to ensure a positive shopping experience.
- Store Operations: Assist in organizing shelves, restocking merchandise, and maintaining a clean, safe, and inviting store environment.
- Point of Sale: Operate cash registers and credit card terminals accurately, handling cash and digital transactions with precision.
- Inventory Management: Monitor stock levels, identify shortages, and communicate with management regarding inventory needs.
- Opening/Closing Duties: Perform opening and closing procedures, including securing the store, setting up displays, and running end-of-day reports.
- Team Collaboration: Work effectively with fellow team members to achieve daily sales goals and operational targets.
Qualifications
- Education: High school diploma or GED preferred (equivalent experience considered).
- Availability: Must be available to work weekends only (Saturday and Sunday) consistently.
- Age: Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Physical Demands: Ability to stand for extended periods, lift up to 25 lbs, and move boxes or merchandise as needed.
- Communication: Strong verbal communication skills and the ability to read and follow instructions.
- Attitude: Dependable, punctual, and eager to learn with a positive, customer-first mindset.
