Responsibilities
- Greet and assist customers with a friendly, professional demeanor, providing product recommendations and answering questions.
- Stock shelves and display areas, ensuring products are organized, priced, and in pristine condition.
- Operate the Point of Sale (POS) system accurately to process sales and returns efficiently.
- Perform opening and closing procedures, including cash handling, lock-ups, and security checks.
- Monitor inventory levels and alert management when stock needs replenishing.
- Keep the sales floor clean, organized, and safe for all customers and employees.
Qualifications
- Must be available to work weekends (Saturday and Sunday) consistently.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with diverse customers.
- Basic math skills and the ability to handle cash transactions accurately.
- Ability to lift, carry, and move merchandise weighing up to 50 lbs regularly.
- High school diploma or GED equivalent preferred.
- Previous retail or customer service experience is a plus but not required.
