Responsibilities
- Provide exceptional customer service and assist shoppers with their inquiries in a friendly and professional manner.
- Execute daily tasks including stocking shelves, organizing merchandise, and maintaining a clean sales floor.
- Operate point-of-sale systems and handle cash transactions with high accuracy.
- Monitor inventory levels and report discrepancies to management immediately.
- Ensure the store entrance, restrooms, and common areas are tidy and welcoming.
- Collaborate with the front-end team to ensure a seamless shopping experience during high-traffic weekend periods.
- Adhere to all safety regulations and company operational policies.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent (or currently pursuing).
- Previous retail or customer service experience is a plus but not required.
- Must be available to work weekends (Saturday and Sunday).
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs with or without accommodation.
- Strong interpersonal and verbal communication skills.
- Reliable transportation to and from the Washington DC location.
