As a Weekend Shift Associate, you will play a vital role in ensuring our store operates smoothly and that our customers have an exceptional shopping experience. You will work Friday through Sunday, gaining valuable experience in customer service and retail operations.
Responsibilities
- Greet and assist customers with a smile, answering questions and providing product recommendations.
- Stock shelves and organize merchandise to maintain a clean, visually appealing store environment.
- Operate the point-of-sale (POS) system accurately to process transactions efficiently.
- Handle cash, credit, and digital payments with strict adherence to company security policies.
- Assist with inventory management, including stock counts and organizing back-of-house areas.
- Ensure the sales floor is tidy and adheres to safety and cleanliness standards.
- Collaborate with the team to meet daily sales targets and operational goals.
Qualifications
- Must be available to work weekend shifts (Friday, Saturday, and Sunday).
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Previous retail or customer service experience is a plus but not required.
- Strong communication skills and a friendly, approachable demeanor.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs.
- Basic math skills for handling cash transactions.
- Reliable transportation to the workplace.
