Responsibilities
- Greet and welcome customers with a friendly, professional demeanor, ensuring a positive shopping experience.
- Assist customers in locating products, providing detailed product information, and answering any inquiries.
- Process sales transactions accurately and efficiently at the register using Point of Sale (POS) systems.
- Merchandise the sales floor to company standards, ensuring the store is visually appealing and organized.
- Upsell products and promote current promotions and loyalty programs to increase sales.
- Collaborate with team members to maintain a high-energy atmosphere and achieve weekly sales goals.
- Handle cash handling procedures with strict adherence to company policies and security guidelines.
Qualifications
- Must be available to work weekends (Saturday and Sunday) consistently.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with diverse customers and staff.
- Basic math skills and the ability to operate a cash register or POS system.
- Previous retail or customer service experience is preferred but not required.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs as needed.
- Reliable transportation is required.
