Responsibilities
- Customer Service: Greet and assist customers with a friendly demeanor, answering inquiries and providing product recommendations to ensure a positive shopping experience.
- Merchandising: Maintain store standards by stocking shelves, organizing displays, and ensuring products are attractively presented and easily accessible.
- Operations: Process sales transactions accurately at the register, handle cash and credit payments, and maintain the integrity of the point-of-sale system.
- Inventory: Assist with inventory counts, stock replenishment, and checking in deliveries to keep the sales floor fully stocked.
- Store Maintenance: Keep the sales floor, restrooms, and fitting areas clean, organized, and safe for customers and staff.
- Team Collaboration: Communicate effectively with team members and management to ensure seamless operations and support team goals.
Qualifications
- Availability: Must be available to work weekends (Saturday and Sunday) with flexibility for early morning or late evening shifts as needed.
- Communication: Excellent verbal communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with customers of all ages.
- Reliability: Proven track record of punctuality and dependability in previous work or educational settings.
- Experience: Previous retail or customer service experience is preferred but not required; we provide comprehensive training.
- Physical Demands: Ability to stand for extended periods, lift up to 25 lbs, and perform repetitive motions.
- Skills: Basic computer literacy and ability to use handheld scanners or POS systems.
