Responsibilities
- Greet and assist customers with a friendly, professional demeanor to ensure a positive shopping experience.
- Operate the Point of Sale (POS) system accurately, processing transactions and handling returns efficiently.
- Stock merchandise on shelves and displays, ensuring the sales floor is organized and visually appealing at all times.
- Monitor inventory levels and assist with stock replenishment during off-peak hours.
- Handle customer inquiries and resolve complaints calmly to maintain high customer satisfaction ratings.
- Keep the sales floor and restrooms clean, tidy, and well-maintained in accordance with company standards.
- Collaborate with the team to achieve daily and weekly sales targets.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; prior retail experience is a plus but not required.
- Ability to work weekends (Saturday and Sunday) consistently.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to interact with diverse customers.
- Basic math skills for handling transactions and cash handling.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs safely.
- Reliable transportation and a positive attitude.
- Availability to work varying shifts, including early mornings and late afternoons.
