Responsibilities
- Greet and assist customers with a friendly, professional demeanor to ensure a positive shopping experience.
- Operate the point-of-sale (POS) system accurately and efficiently, handling cash and card transactions.
- Stock merchandise on shelves and racks, ensuring products are displayed attractively and organized.
- Monitor inventory levels and assist with stockroom organization and retrieval.
- Collaborate with the team to maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming store environment.
- Assist in the execution of visual merchandising displays and promotional events.
Qualifications
- Must be available to work weekends (Saturday and Sunday) consistently.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively.
- Basic math skills required for cash handling and transaction processing.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs with or without accommodation.
- Reliable transportation to and from the Virginia Beach location.
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
