Responsibilities
- Greet and welcome customers to the store, providing a friendly and professional first impression.
- Assist customers in locating products and answering questions about our merchandise and services.
- Operate the point-of-sale (POS) system accurately to process sales, returns, and exchanges.
- Stock shelves and display areas, ensuring products are organized, labeled, and visually appealing.
- Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the sales floor and stockrooms.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve daily sales targets and store goals.
- Handle cash and handle basic inventory management tasks.
Qualifications
- Must be available to work exclusively on Saturdays and Sundays (no weeknight shifts required).
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED preferred).
- No prior retail experience is necessary; we provide comprehensive training.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with diverse customers.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs regularly.
- Basic math skills for handling transactions and pricing.
- A positive attitude and a willingness to learn new skills quickly.
