Responsibilities
- Greet customers warmly upon entering the store and provide a friendly, welcoming atmosphere.
- Assist customers in locating products and answer questions regarding merchandise features and pricing.
- Restock shelves, organize displays, and ensure the sales floor is clean and clutter-free.
- Operate the point-of-sale (POS) system accurately, process payments, and handle cash transactions responsibly.
- Monitor inventory levels and assist in stock replenishment as needed.
- Collaborate with fellow team members to achieve daily sales goals and store targets.
- Ensure adherence to all company policies, safety procedures, and loss prevention protocols.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent (preferred but not strictly required).
- Previous retail or customer service experience is a plus but we welcome entry-level applicants.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with diverse customers.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks such as lifting up to 25 lbs.
- Must be available to work weekends (Saturday and Sunday).
- Basic computer proficiency and ability to learn new POS systems quickly.
