Responsibilities
- Greet and assist customers with a friendly and professional demeanor, ensuring a welcoming shopping environment.
- Operate the point-of-sale (POS) system accurately and efficiently to process transactions and handle returns.
- Stock shelves and organize merchandise to ensure the store is visually appealing and well-stocked at all times.
- Monitor inventory levels and communicate shortages or damaged goods to the store manager promptly.
- Keep the sales floor, fitting rooms, and restrooms clean, organized, and in compliance with company safety standards.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve daily and weekly sales targets.
- Handle cash and card transactions with a high degree of accuracy and responsibility.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent preferred.
- Previous retail or customer service experience is a plus but not required.
- Must be available to work weekends (Saturday and Sunday).
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods (4-8 hours per shift).
- Basic math skills and attention to detail for cash handling.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work well in a team.
- Reliable transportation to and from the workplace.
