Responsibilities
- Greet and welcome customers with a friendly demeanor, providing exceptional service to ensure a positive shopping experience.
- Assist customers in locating products and answering questions about merchandise, promotions, and store policies.
- Stock shelves and display areas with new merchandise, ensuring products are organized, priced, and visible.
- Operate the point-of-sale (POS) system accurately, processing transactions, and handling returns or exchanges.
- Maintain a clean and organized sales floor, restocking supplies, and ensuring the overall store appearance meets company standards.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve sales targets and support store operations during peak weekend hours.
Qualifications
- Previous retail or customer service experience is preferred but not required.
- Must be available to work weekends, specifically Saturday and Sunday shifts.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with diverse customers.
- Basic math skills for handling transactions and making change.
- Ability to stand, walk, and lift merchandise up to 25 lbs for extended periods.
