Responsibilities
- Greet and assist customers with a friendly, professional demeanor upon arrival.
- Operate the point-of-sale (POS) system accurately and efficiently to process transactions.
- Stock shelves and merchandise displays to maintain a clean, organized, and visually appealing store environment.
- Monitor inventory levels and assist with inventory counts and restocking as needed.
- Handle customer inquiries, returns, and exchanges with patience and care.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve daily sales goals and store objectives.
- Ensure adherence to all company policies, safety protocols, and loss prevention measures.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED is preferred but not required.
- Must be available to work Saturdays and Sundays on a consistent basis.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to interact positively with diverse customers.
- Basic math skills for cash handling and transaction processing.
- Ability to stand, walk, and lift merchandise for extended periods (up to 5-10 lbs).
- Previous retail or customer service experience is a plus but not mandatory.
- A positive attitude and willingness to learn new skills quickly.
