Responsibilities
- Greet and assist customers with a friendly, professional demeanor, ensuring a positive shopping experience.
- Process transactions accurately at the point of sale (POS) and handle cash and credit payments.
- Restock merchandise, organize shelves, and ensure the store is visually appealing and well-maintained.
- Assist in inventory management and stockroom organization during off-peak hours.
- Answer customer inquiries regarding product availability and store policies.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment for both customers and staff.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED is preferred (or equivalent experience).
- Previous retail or customer service experience is a plus but not required for entry-level candidates.
- Must be available to work weekends (Saturday and Sunday).
- Strong communication skills and the ability to interact with diverse groups of people.
- Basic math skills for handling cash transactions.
- Ability to stand and move around for extended periods.
