As a Weekend Retail Associate, you will be the face of our brand, interacting directly with our diverse community of customers.
Responsibilities
- Greet and assist customers with a friendly and professional demeanor, ensuring a welcoming shopping experience.
- Process sales transactions accurately and efficiently using the Point of Sale (POS) system.
- Stock shelves, organize merchandise, and ensure the sales floor is clean, safe, and visually appealing.
- Answer customer inquiries regarding product availability, features, and promotions.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve daily sales targets and operational goals.
- Handle cash, credit, and gift card transactions with strict adherence to cash-handling policies.
- Assist with inventory counts and seasonal stock rotations as required.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Previous retail or customer service experience is preferred but not mandatory.
- Must be available to work Saturdays and Sundays on a consistent basis.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work well in a fast-paced team environment.
- Basic math skills for handling transactions and inventory.
- Reliable transportation to and from the workplace.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs.
