Responsibilities
- Deliver compassionate patient care during weekend shifts (Sat-Sun, 7am-7pm)
- Assist with patient assessments, vital monitoring, and treatment preparation
- Maintain accurate electronic health records and documentation
- Coordinate with on-call physicians and weekend nursing teams
- Ensure compliance with HIPAA and healthcare protocols
- Support patient education and discharge planning processes
- Participate in weekend shift huddles and quality improvement initiatives
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (CNA or medical assistant certification preferred)
- Minimum 1 year healthcare experience or relevant clinical training
- Current BLS/CPR certification (will train if not current)
- Strong communication skills and ability to multitask in fast-paced settings
- Weekend availability mandatory (no conflicts)
- Basic computer proficiency with EMR systems
- Ability to stand/walk for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs
