Responsibilities
- Schedule patient appointments and coordinate care across departments
- Manage electronic health records (EHR) with precision and confidentiality
- Assist with patient intake, insurance verification, and billing support
- Coordinate weekend patient communications and follow-up care
- Maintain HIPAA compliance in all documentation and interactions
- Support weekend triage for urgent patient inquiries
- Collaborate with on-call physicians and nursing staff
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required; healthcare certificate preferred
- 1+ years of healthcare or customer service experience
- Proficiency with EHR systems (Epic or Cerner a plus)
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently during weekend shifts
- Basic medical terminology knowledge
- Valid CPR certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Reliable transportation to downtown Oklahoma City location
