Responsibilities
- Manage patient intake, scheduling, and registration processes during weekend hours
- Coordinate care plans between providers, patients, and support staff
- Handle patient inquiries and resolve service issues with empathy
- Maintain accurate electronic health records and documentation
- Assist with weekend patient flow and triage in urgent care settings
- Collaborate with on-call providers for weekend coverage coordination
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; medical assistant or healthcare certification preferred
- Minimum 1 year experience in patient care coordination or healthcare admin
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficiency with EHR systems (Epic experience a plus)
- Ability to work independently in fast-paced weekend environments
- CPR/BLS certification required
- Flexibility to cover rotating weekend shifts (Sat/Sun)
