Responsibilities
- Coordinate patient intake and check-in procedures during weekend shifts
- Assist with basic clinical tasks including vital sign measurement and specimen collection
- Manage appointment scheduling and electronic health record updates
- Provide exceptional customer service to patients and families
- Collaborate with physicians and nurses to ensure seamless patient flow
- Maintain clean, organized examination areas and medical supplies
- Handle confidential patient information with HIPAA compliance
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; medical assistant certification preferred
- Minimum 1 year healthcare experience or relevant education
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Basic computer proficiency with EHR systems
- Flexibility to work Saturdays and Sundays (6 AM - 6 PM)
- Valid CPR certification or willingness to obtain
