Responsibilities
- Schedule patient appointments and coordinate care across multiple departments
- Manage electronic health records (EHR) with precision and confidentiality
- Assist providers with clinical procedures and patient preparation
- Handle insurance verification and billing documentation
- Provide exceptional patient communication and education
- Coordinate weekend staffing coverage and patient flow
- Maintain compliance with HIPAA and healthcare regulations
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year healthcare administration experience
- Strong proficiency in EHR systems (Epic preferred)
- Certified Medical Assistant or equivalent credential
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks
- Flexibility to adapt to changing patient needs
- Valid Indiana healthcare provider license
