Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate assistance with patient daily activities including mobility, bathing, and feeding
- Monitor vital signs and document patient observations accurately
- Collaborate with nursing staff to implement personalized care plans
- Maintain clean, safe environments for patients and visitors
- Assist with patient transportation and equipment management
- Respond promptly to patient requests and emergency situations
- Prepare and maintain confidential patient records
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; CNA certification preferred
- Minimum 6 months healthcare or caregiving experience
- Current CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and stand for extended periods
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Flexibility to work Saturdays/Sundays with rotating holidays
- Pass background check and pre-employment health screening
- Basic computer proficiency for documentation
