As a Weekend Associate, you will play a crucial role in ensuring our store operates smoothly and our customers leave happy. This is a fantastic opportunity for students, retirees, or anyone seeking supplemental income with flexible scheduling.
Responsibilities
- Customer Service: Greet customers warmly, answer inquiries, and provide product recommendations to ensure a positive shopping experience.
- Store Operations: Assist in opening and closing the store, including cash handling, register operations, and balancing the till at the end of shifts.
- Merchandising: Maintain store appearance by organizing shelves, restocking inventory, and ensuring product displays are visually appealing.
- Stock Management: Receive and unpack shipments, check for damages, and organize stock areas efficiently.
- Security: Monitor store premises to prevent theft and ensure safety protocols are followed.
Qualifications
- Availability: Must be available to work weekends (Saturday and Sunday) and some weekday evenings.
- Experience: Previous retail or customer service experience is preferred but not required.
- Communication: Excellent verbal communication skills and a friendly, approachable demeanor.
- Reliability: A strong work ethic and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
